The new year has brought many changes to Czech motorways, including changes to the price of motorway tolls. From March 2024, the price of the annual vignette will be increased to CZK 2,500, which includes the environmental fee. This increase is mainly due to rising inflation and the fact that the price of vignettes has not been adjusted for the last 10 years. Other types of vignettes have either become slightly cheaper or their prices have remained the same.
Four Types of Vignettes
There are a total of four types of vignettes, which differ in their validity period. The best value is an annual stamp for CZK 2,500, which works out at less than CZK 7 per day. There is also a 30-day vignette for CZK 630 and a 10-day vignette for CZK 470, which equates to approximately CZK 20 and CZK 35 per day respectively. If you only need to use the motorway once, you can buy a 1-day vignette for CZK 350, which is valid until midnight on the day it is purchased. All these prices include the environmental fee.
Do you frequently drive on toll motorway sections or are you more of an occasional user of the motorway network? Our electronic vignette is suitable for all types of drivers.

Price List for Electric and Alternative Fuel Vehicles
Alternative Fuel
Vehicles powered by alternative fuels (CNG, LNG, Biomethane) are eligible for discounted vignette prices. An annual electronic vignette for these vehicles costs only CZK 1,350, which is half the price of a vignette for vehicles with traditional fuels. This discounted price reflects efforts to promote more environmentally friendly ways of powering vehicles.

Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles
Low CO₂-emission vehicles, such as plug-in hybrids with maximum emissions of 50 g/km, are eligible for even better vignette prices. The annual electronic vignette for these vehicles costs only CZK 770. This price reflects efforts to promote greener forms of propulsion and to encourage the use of low-emission hybrid vehicles.

Electric Cars
A positive development in 2024 is that vehicles powered solely by electricity or hydrogen will be exempt from the obligation to purchase vignettes. These vehicles will be automatically registered thanks to the special registration plates they will receive. Owners of vehicles with zero CO₂ emissions will be entitled to this exemption.
